Coronary catheter hands-on seminar

JMC held a coronary catheter hands-on seminar using the Heartoid system for teachers and medical students at Asahikawa Medical University Hospital. The seminar, the second time for it to be held, was well received.

The session included training on PCI simulation and left and right coronary angiography for students with high interest in cardiovascular internal medicine among medical students.
JMC received multiple comments from the participating trainee's instructors and medical students that they felt it allowed near actual catheter operation, and some physicians were able to verify the procedure multiple times.
In addition, a cardiovascular internal medicine physicians who received instruction highly evaluated the system, noting, "I would like to continue incorporating this as an educational module for young doctors and residents."
